John Lennon
New York (ANI): The killer of late John Lennon has said that he"s 'ashamed' of killing the legendary rocker. Mark David Chapman, who has been denied parole for a fifth time, told the two-person Parole Board panel that he's guilty of what he did and is not the same person now. Chapman has been serving 20-years-to-life sentence.

"I am ashamed. I am sorry for what I did," the New York Daily News quoted him, as saying. "I recognized that that 25-year-old man, I don't think he appreciated the life he was taking, that this was a human being. I feel now at 53 that I have grown into a deeper understanding of what a human life is. I have changed a lot," he added.
