Melbourne
(ANI):
Aussie
actor
and
singer
Jason
Donovan
has
revealed
how
his
relationship
with
Aussie
pop
princess
Kylie
Minogue
had
started,
and
then
ended
when
she
dumped
him
over
the
phone.
Donovan
recalled
how
he
was
seduced
by
Minogue
in
a
Travel
Lodge
in
Sydney,
where
they
spent
their
first
passionate
night
together,
and
was
later
dumped
over
the
phone
when
she
started
seeing
INXS
frontman
Michael
Hutchence.
The
40-year-old
former
'Neighbours'
star
spoke
out
about
the
relationship
in
a
wide-ranging
TV
interview
with
former
tabloid
newspaper
editor
Piers
Morgan
on
BBC1
in
Britain,
where
he
was
asked
if
he
thought
he
was
in
love.
“Yeah,
I
would
say
that's
pretty
accurate," news.com.au
quoted
him
as
having
said.
Donovan
further
admitted
that
after
they
had
quit
'Neighbours'
in
1989
and
moved
to
Britain
to
pursue
pop
careers,
he
began
hearing
rumours
that
Minogue
was
seeing
Hutchence.
"My
manager
had
heard
there
was
something
going
on
through
Chris
Murphy,
INXS'
manager
at
the
time,
but
he
didn't
really
want
to
tell
me," he
said.
"I
think
she
rang
me
one
night
and
I
could
sense
something
was
sort
of
wrong
and
she
said
it
was
over.
In
reality
that
was
probably
the
best
way
to
do
it
because
I
couldn't
accept
it
at
the
start.
“That
was
very
difficult.
To
come
back
to
the
UK
and
have
that
thrown
in
your
face
(Minogue's
relationship
with
Hutchence)
wasn't
something
sort
of
easy
to
handle," he
stated.
Minogue
never
explained
to
Donovan
why
she
ended
their
three-year
affair.
"Since
then
she
has
come
up
to
me
and
said,
'I
didn't
deal
with
that
particularly
well'.
I
said,
'bloody
right
you
didn't'," he
added.
The
actor
will
soon
star
in
the
London
debut
of
the
award-winning
Australian
musical
Priscilla
Queen
of
the
Desert.
