Leona Lewis brings in the dough

"A number of huge offers are on the table for Leona's songs. The bids for Bleeding Love are staggering. They're into seven figures," The Sun quoted a source as saying. "The offers are for major blockbusters - some just around the corner. It could turn the song into the biggest hit this decade - like a new I Will Always Love You. It is unusual for a film company to spend a lot of money on a song unless it has been recorded specifically for the film.
"But, because the song is such a huge worldwide hit - and so perfect for a big movie - they are prepared to make an exception," the source added. The song has topped charts around the globe, and last week made Leona the first British female solo artist to have a No1 single in the States since Kim Wilde 21 years ago. Benefiting from Leona's success are, her bosses Simon Cowell and Clive Davis, the track's writers Ryan Tedder and Jesse McCartney
