Lily Allen refuses to hit the town

London (ANI): Pop singer Lily Allen has detached herself from the outside world in fear of tumbling into drinking and drug addiction again. In an interview to Glamour magazine the 22-year-old singer revealed that she has locked herself away from getting into drugs and alcohol binge.

"I've been sad and quite lonely recently because if you're young, living in London and working in this industry, unless you drink and take a lot of drugs, there's not much to do," The Sun quoted Allen as saying.

"I've been sitting on my own watching TV. It"s boring to go out if everyone else is taking cocaine and shouting at me. "When I was regnant I stopped drinking and I didn't start again. Then when the baby was gone, I thought, 'That doesn't mean I'm going to go back to how I was'," she added.

Moreover her outlook towards singer Cheryl Cole has also changed. "Cheryl has had an awful time. Two years ago I'd have been, 'Ha ha!'. "Now I could never take anything positive from anyone suffering," she added.
