London (ANI): American singer Liza Minnelli is set to resume playing live after collapsing during a gig last month. The singer"s lawyer, Allen Arrow denied any health scare and claimed that Minnelli is ready to perform again. "Not to worry," the Daily Snack quoted Arrow, as saying.
Arrow further said that Minnelli is rehearsing and would soon be resuming her touring schedule on January 12 in Providence, Rhode Island.
Minnelli, who is the daughter of Judy Garland, collapsed while walking offstage after doing her gig in a Christmas show on December 12 in Goteborg, Sweden's second-largest city. On the advice of doctors, she took a flight to the United States the next day. "She was that sick. You wonder why she had the courage to get on the stage when she shouldn't have," said Arrow.
