Madge trying to convert Britney back to Kabbalah

Washington (ANI): Pop Singer Madonna is reportedly trying to convert singer Britney Spears back to Kabbalah by offering her New York residence for the pop star's use. The Queen of Pop had allegedly dumped her friendship with Britney after the latter deserted the controversial Jewish-based faith, following the birth of her second son Jayden James in 2006.

According to Contactmusic, Britney had announced at the time: "I no longer study Kabbalah. My baby is my religion." However, Madonna, a devout follower of the religion, is said to be attempting for a second time to make Britney reconsider her decision.

"Madonna is determined she can get Britney back into Kabbalah. She has offered her a suite of rooms at her apartment in New York and has told Britney she is her surrogate mother," the Daily Mail quoted a source as saying. "Britney used to wear the red Kabbalah bracelet and read the books Madonna gave her and she is thinking about giving it another chance," the source added.

Britney's rep has neither denied nor confirmed the claim, adding: "Britney wouldn't really comment on that, it's just a case of wait and see what happens."
