Madonna not divorcing Guy Ritchie: publicist

Washington (ANI): Madonna's representative has slammed reports indicating that missing wedding ring is an indication that her marriage to Guy Ritchie is on the rocks. It has been rumoured for quite some time now that the Material Girl and Ritchie are heading for a divorce.

And when the 49-year-old pop star appeared in New York, minus her wedding band, the rumour was further fuelled. But in an interview with People.com, her representative, Liz Rosenbery, has explained the pictures insisting that the couple is still together.

"Madonna has rarely worn a wedding band over these last six years, so there's no secret message about that," Contactmusic quoted her, as saying. After Ritchie flew to the Big Apple to join his wife on June 30, it is believed that the coming week will see the couple put a united front to dispel the divorce rumours.
