London
(ANI):
Dispelling
all
rumours
surrounding
their
separation,
pop
singer
Madonna
and
filmmaker
Guy
Ritchie
have
issued
a
joint
statement
saying
that
they
are
both
happy
with
their
divorce
agreement.
The
duo
said
that
a
'misleading
and
inaccurate'
statement,
specifically
relating
to
the
sums
of
money
involved,
was
incorrectly
issued,
reports
the
Independent.
They
said:
"The
financial
details
of
the
settlement
will
remain
private,
save
to
say
that
both
of
us
are
happy
with
our
agreement.
Our
primary
concern,
like
any
co-parents,
is
the
care
and
well-being
of
our
children."
Earlier
this
week,
Madonna's
spokeswoman
said
Ritchie
would
receive
between
76million
dollars
and
92million
dollars
in
cash
and
property
which
included
the
couple's
country
retreat
Ashcombe
House
in
Wiltshire.
The
singer's
US
representative
said
the
couple's
west
London
pub
the
Punchbowl
would
also
remain
with
Ritchie.
But
today,
the
joint
statement
from
Ritchie
and
Madonna
said:
"We
have
tried
to
maintain
a
dignified
silence
regarding
the
details
of
our
divorce
for
the
last
few
months
whilst
accepting
the
obvious
media
interest.
