Mariah as good a woman as Mary Poppins

New York (ANI): Hip-hop and R&B Superstar Mariah Carey admits that people see her as a "ditzy moron", but insists that she is as good a woman as Mary Poppins. Carey"s newest single 'Touch My Body', the lead track on her latest album 'E=MC2', is poised to be her 18th No. 1 single, tying with the Beatles for having the most chart-toppers.

"It's a dichotomy, I understand. I understand that people think I'm a ditzy moron," the New York Daily News quoted her as telling Allure magazine.

Carey, who has been romantically linked to Yankees captain Derek Jeter and rapper Eminem, said that it would be a big mistake on people's part if they thought that she had loose morals. She said that she was amongst people who never had a one-night stand. "I'm Mary Poppins: I'm what the buttoned-up girls are supposed to be," she said.

She showed off her new hit and slimmed-down figure on NBC's "Saturday Night Live" this weekend, sporting stilettos and a micro-miniskirt.
