Carey will perform at American Music Awards

Washington (ANI): Singer Mariah Carey is all set to perform at the American Music Awards to be held on Nov. 23 in Los Angeles, it has emerged. The 38-year-old star will join the likes of the Jonas Brothers, Rihanna, Taylor Swift, Ne-Yo, Pink and the Pussycat Dolls to set the stage on fire, reports People Magazine.

Talking about the nominations, Alicia Keys leads the list with five. Coldplay and The Eagles are up for four apiece, while Lil''Wayne and Chris Brown are up for three awards each. All five are up for Artist of the Year honours, the night's biggest award. Paris Hilton, Kate Walsh and Akon will also be the presenters at the telecast, which airs live on ABC.
