Martina McBride bags Harmony Award

It's country music time. This week witnesses various country music artistes and songwriters being honoured. Martina McBride too is going to receive the Harmony Award from the Nashville Symphony. The award acknowledges the individuals for contributing to the development of music in Nashville.

The award will be conferred during the annual Symphony Ball at Nashville's Schermerhorn Symphony Center on December 13th. Artistes like Chet Atkins, Vince Gill, Amy Grant, LeAnn Rimes, Rascal Flatts, Lyle Lovett, Trisha Yearwood, Dolly Parton and the Judds have received the award in the past.
