Paul McCartney planning to tie knot soon

London (ANI): Sir Paul McCartney is gearing up to propose to girlfriend American heiress Nancy Shevell, according to reports. McCartney's partner, Shevell is close to finalizing her divorce from estranged husband Bruce Blakeman, and there are reports that the 'Beatles' star is planning to ask her to marry him after that.

The 47-year-old stunner would be wife number three for Sir Paul, whose divorce from Heather Mills was settled in March, reports the Telegraph. Shevell, whose family has a multi-million dollar transport firm, is still to officially finalize her divorce from her politician husband of 23 years, Bruce Blakeman.

Shevell was first seen with Sir Paul in November, when they shared a string of secret dates in the Hamptons. They holidayed in the Caribbean in April of this year, shortly after Sir Paul's bitter divorce battle with Mills came to an end, and recently took a romantic road trip along Route 66.
