michael jackson leaves partygoers disappointed

London (ANI): michael jackson left the electrifying crowd at fashion designer Christian Audigier's 50th birthday bash in disappointment when he grabbed a microphone only to say a few words in his pal's honour. The crowd went wild as the 'King of Pop' strode purposefully on stage and picked up a microphone, for they thought it to be the moment he was going to break into song and end his years of silence, reports the Mirror.

However, all they got as Jacko stepped onto the platform was a whispered, 'Hello'. He added: 'Christian is the King of Fashion' before turning on his heels and trouping off. A source said: "Everyone went mad when he grabbed the microphone. The mood was electric. "But sadly there was no impromptu gig. It was a shame because he looked in pretty good shape. He was obviously just putting in an appearance for his old pal Christian," the source added.

The star left after his brief appearance at the LA birthday bash, which included other A-list guests like Britney Spears and Pamela Anderson
