Miley Cyrus dad praises Justin Gaston

Washington (ANI): Singer Miley Cyrus dad has said that the underwear model, with whom his daughter is often seen with, is a great guy. Billy Ray Cyrus, who stars with his daughter in 'Hannah Montana', gave the statement when asked about the absence of Justin Gaston, 20, from Miley's grand birthday performance at Disneyland.

"He is a great guy, a really talented guy," Fox News quoted Ray, as saying.

The 16-year-old star's camp has long been maintaining that she and Gaston are "just friends." Despite being linked to Gaston, Miley has earlier been caught in a controversy involving a string of scandalous snaps.

But Bill said that they deal with the drama of fame "one day at a time, one step at a time."
