Pink stays away from Amy Winehouse, drugs

Washington (ANI): Pink has confessed that she tries to distance herself from Amy Winehouse in a bid to stay away from drugs.

The "Get The Party Started" hitmaker has herself faced a long battle with drug abuse, when she was a mere struggler, and now fears that she might get tempted to take drugs if she meets the "Back to Black" popstar.

"If I got together with Amy Winehouse it would be bad news, that was me ten years ago but different drugs, I have been clean for a long time now but I am glad I did it then," Contactmusic quoted Pink, as telling a British newspaper The Sun. "I f**ked up like crazy and no one gave a s**t when I was Alecia Moore and got away with it, I can throw down, I still get stuck in, I have house parties now but it is mainly red wine and civilised now," she added.

The popstar also insisted that she thinks highly of Amy Winehouse as a popstar. "Amy Winehouse is awesome, her music is the core of her and she is f**king brilliant," Pink said.
