Washington (ANI): After weeks of speculation, singer Ashlee Simpson and her new rocker hubby Pete Wentz have confirmed the news that the stork will be paying them a visit by the end of this year. Wentz confirmed the rumours by posting a message on his website friendsorenemies.com.

On it, he tells fans that the couple were waiting to complete the first trimester before breaking the news. "While many have speculated about this, we wanted to wait until after the first trimester to officially confirm that we are expecting our first child," People quoted him, as stating. "This is truly the most joyous time in our lives and we are excited to share the happy news and start our family."
