London (ANI): Victoria Beckham is suing a magazine over claims that she's taking slimming pills. The charming ex-Spice Girl is reportedly taken aback by the "blatantly untrue" allegations. The magazine also roped her sister in an allegation, claiming that she's transporting the tablets from UK to the fashion icon.

"The accusation is dangerous, defamatory and blatantly untrue," The Daily Star quoted Victoria's agent Jo Milloy, as saying. "Victoria takes her position as a role model to young women very seriously and is horrified by this hurtful, fabricated story. It is now with her lawyers," the agent added.

She has been especially particular about her diets and is very careful of her struggle to stay fit. She added: "I eat really healthily. I love Japanese food, lots of fish, any sort of vegetable, lots of fruit, that kind of thing" quoted The Daily Star. She is especially concerned about her fans following the rumours and going for pills to get slim. A close friend of Victoria's said: "She lives in the USA where you really can access any kind of drug, so why on Earth would she ask her sister to get them for her in the UK? "There's no reason to go to this much trouble to get them."
