London (ANI): Amy Winehouse's beehive is one of the worst hairdos in music history, says a new poll. According to the poll, the troubled singer, 25, looks scarier than 1980s Kajagoogoo popster Limahl, 49. However, it was the flowing blond locks of 1980s crooner Michael Bolton, 55, who won the top spot in the list.

He was followed by the catastrophic mop of Charlatans pin-up Tim Burgess, 40, and the disaster quiff of Carter USM singer Jim 'Jim Bob' Morrison, 47, reports the Daily Star. The survey was conducted by mobile phone giant Orange.

Among the best barnets were those of 50-year-old ex-punk Toyah Willcox, rocker Rod Stewart, 63, and Oasis frontman Liam Gallagher, 36. They were joined by angry Prodigy singer Keith Flint, 39, Guns N' Roses screecher Axl Rose, 46, and Thin White Duke David Bowie, 61.

"There have been some terrible hairdos in music and it's great to see the old culprits are still causing a bit of a stir," said a spokesman for the music division of Orange.
