Beyonce puts down Janet Jackson

New York (ANI): American R&B singer Beyonce Knowles has reportedly put down American singer-songwriter Janet Jackson by saying that her family does not come from a high class background. Beyonce is even said to have implied that she herself comes from a well to do background.

"I grew up upper class," the New York Daily News quoted Beyonce as reportedly saying. "Private school. My dad had a Jaguar. We're African-American and we work together as a family, so people assume we''re like the Jacksons - but I didn't have parents using me to get out of a bad situation," she added.

So far, there is comment from Jackson, who is from blue-collar Gary, Indiana.
