David Bowie's album the 'Gayest Ever'

Washington (ANI): David Bowie's 'The Rise and Fall Of Ziggy Stardust and The Spiders From Mars' has been named the gayest album ever recorded. The 1972 classic topped the new countdown in gay magazine Out, reports Contactmusic. Bowie's album beat out eponymous 1980s albums from The Smiths, Tracy Chapman and the Indigo Girls.

Judy Garland's live album 'Judy At Carnegie Hall', The Smiths' 'The Queen Is Dead', Elton John's 'Goodbye Yellow Brick Road', Madonna's 'Immaculate Collection' and 'She's So Unusual' by Cyndi Lauper, also featured in the top ten.
