Britney Spears' marriage proposal turned down

Melbourne (ANI): Pop princess Britney Spears' manager-boyfriend Jason Trawick has reportedly said no to her marriage proposal.

Spears, 27, who is in Sydney for her tour, had proposed marriage to her boyfriend of some three-years on November 20, and she is said to have been left devastated when he refused.

"She is in love with the idea of marriage," News.com.au quoted a source as saying. "She has been married only twice, but has proposed to many more," the source added.

Trawick, who flew to Australia from LA two weeks ago bringing Spears' two young sons with him, is credited with helping the pop star claw her way back from a very public breakdown two years ago.
