Cheryl Cole dyes her hair red

London (ANI): Singer Cheryl Cole has coloured her hair red. The X Factor judge made an appearance with her new red locks at Guy Ritchie's pub, The Punchbowl in Mayfair, London, this weekend.

"She knew it would cause a stir but Cheryl wanted to dramatically change her hair to define herself as a solo artist," The News of The World quoted a source as saying. It has been that reported that the Girls Aloud star, who will soon set foot as a solo artist as well as take up a new series of reality shows, shells out more than 100,000-pound a year on grooming.

Fabulous fashion editor Lynne McKenna says that the hot new hair-colour has given Cheryl a lead again. According to McKenna, Cheryl's new shade will soon be copied by girls everywhere.
