Cheryl Cole crowned TV Personality of the Year

London (ANI): Singer Cheryl Cole has won the television personality of the year gong in Glamour magazine's Women of the Year awards. The X-factor judge was also named the Entrepreneur of the Year. And Girls Aloud walked way with the 'Band of the Year' award.

The awards are voted by the magazine's readers and recognise the achievements of women in film, television and music, theatre, business and literature, reports the Telegraph. Former EastEnders star Michelle Ryan won UK actress of the year gong.

Adele was named UK solo artist of the year, while RnB singer Estelle won the editor's special award. Katy Perry took Newcomer of the Year award.
