Cowell compares American Idol contestant to hooker

London (ANI): Simon Cowell, who is known for his acidic comments and taunts, recently crossed all the lines when he compared an American Idol contestant to a hooker. Cowell was enraged when American Idol contestant Tatiana Del Toro turned up for the audition wearing what looked like net curtains around her knees.

Infuriated with her loud outfit, Cowell stated: "You should be a hooker." Although Tatiana got the flak from Cowell, she got through without his nod. Another contestant Annie, who warbles badly, was also condemned as Cowell thought she has been hitting the bottle.

"That sounded like you were drunk. And not one or two bottles a whole crate," The Sun quoted Cowell, as telling Annie. In another scene he told a wannabe: "It was really boring and I hate what you're wearing."
