Lady GaGa, Beyonce lead MTV EMA nominations

London (ANI): Singer Lady Gaga will face competition from Beyonce for the best female title at this year's MTV Europe Music Awards. Katy Perry, Leona Lewis and Shakira are also enlisted for the title. Also, the 'Paparazzi" hitmaker has received five nominations for the event, the BBC reports.

Gaga"s hit track 'Poker Face" will go up against Beyonce's 'Halo", Kings of Leon's 'Use Somebody," Black Eyed Peas' 'I Got A Feeling" and David Guetta's 'When Love Takes Over" for the best song title.

Beyonce secured four nods including best female, while rapper Eminem and punk rockers Green Day each secured three nominations each. The results will be announced in Berlin on 5 November.
