Stephen Gately died from undiagnosed heart condition

London (ANI): Singer Stephen Gately"s death was caused by a rare undiagnosed heart condition, according to further forensic reports. The Boyzone star was found dead at his holiday home in Spain on October 10 this year.

His devastated mum previously suggested her son must have suffered a heart condition, because several relatives have been plagued by similar problems, reports the Daily Star. And according to reports obtained by The Sun, Gately died from atheromatosis, a thickening of the arteries.

The findings added: "Gately had been dead for approximately eight hours when his body was discovered."
