Bono's wife sues Sir Paul McCartney's daughter

London (ANI): U2 lead Bono"s wife Ali Hewson has filed a lawsuit against Sir Paul McCartney"s daughter Stella over the fashion designer's new fragrance, it has been reported. Hewson claims that Stella"s use of the word 'nude' for her own variety of perfume called 'Stella Nude" amounts to copyright infringement, as she own a company named Nude Skincare.

“Nude Skincare is suing for compensation, not because of anything to do with the scent of the perfume but because of branding and the use of the word 'nude'," the Daily Star quoted a source as saying. However, the Beatles member"s daughter is reportedly in no mood to rename it.

The insider added: “Stella isn't likely to make any changes now because the fragrance is coming out in September and nudity is a big part of the perfume's look. The bottle, for example, is a nude colour." Now, the case is set to go to court in London this autumn.

McCartney added a perfume collection to her fashion house in 2002 with her first fragrance Stella, and the new product is a revitalised version of it.
