Jennifer Hudson expecting her first child?

New York (ANI): Singer Jennifer Hudson and fiance David Otunga may be expecting a little bundle of joy. In spite of denials by her reps, two sources close to the singer confirmed to Essence magazine that Hudson is expecting her first child.

The Grammy-Oscar winner is engaged to Harvard law graduate David Otunga, who appeared on the reality show "I Love New York 2." However, no date for their nuptials has been set as yet, reports The New York Daily News. Hudson, who was a contestant at 'American Idol', saw the darkest period of her life when her mother, brother and nephew were murdered in Chicago.

The beauty's estranged brother-in-law William Balfour was later charged with the killings. Hudson returned to the stage on February 1, singing 'The Star-Spangled Banner' at the Super Bowl. A week later, she won her first Grammy Award for best R&B album.
