Janet Jackson may reunite with Jermaine Dupri

Washington, (ANI): Janet Jackson may get back together with her former longtime boyfriend Jermaine Dupri, according to sources.

The singer, who recently parted ways with the Grammy winning songwriter, was predicted to be soon on the road to reconciliation as she comes to terms with the sudden death of her elder brother Michael Jackson.

"Jermaine has decided to take a step back and cool things off but they aren't totally broken up," Fox News quoted an insider as telling Pop Tarts. A pal added: "Janet wanted to start a family but that's not what Jermaine wanted. But everyone is confident they will work it out."

Meanwhile, Jermaine has raised eyebrows with his disappearance act while his former girlfriend tries to cope with the personal tragedy. The source added that staying at bay from the press and the Jacksons during their time of grief was Jermaine's way of dealing with death and tragedy.

A rep for the pair declined to comment.
