Janet Jackson denies reconciling with Jermaine Dupri

Washington (ANI): Singer Janet Jackson has slammed reports that she has reconciled with her former beau Jermaine Dupri. The singer referred to Dupri as her "ex" during a new radio interview, saying he was now on her list of past boyfriends.

"I'm not the type of girl that stays in touch with your ex like that," Us magazine quoted her as telling Atlanta's The Bert Show. But the 43-year-old added: "Jermaine is one of my best friends. I love him to death. We're still connected. We're still good friends. We still talk."

The former couple ended their eight-year relationship in July over reported disagreement about her music career.
