John Mayer begs women to kiss him

London, (ANI): American musician John Mayer is said to have begged dozens of women to kiss him during a night out with some of his friends on May 16.

Mayer, 31, who had recently split from actress Jennifer Aniston, got the ladies to leave red lipstick marks on his face during a night out in Los Angeles.

He and his friends were spotted having dinner at Katsuya before moving on to nightclub MyHouse, where they danced to retro hits like Montell Jordan's 'This is How We Do It', until the early hours of the morning.

But he later admitted on his Twitter account that the kissing incident had been a stunt to fool the paparazzi.

"Trying to procure as many red lipstick kisses on my face as I can. Trying to gag photogs and make a joke. OH MY GOD MONTEL JORDAN JUST CAME ON," the Sun quoted him as writing.

"Okay, check it. Just spent the last hour getting the reddest lipstick on me for a gag. When you see the pics of me leaving the club covered in kisses it's all a gag.

"Have fun. Smile at the things that worry you. Play good music. Laugh. Live your life! (sic)" he added.
