Kate Moss wants to join Jamie's band

Washington, July 20 (ANI): If sources are to be believed, supermodel Kate Moss will is keen to join her beau Jamie Hince's band The Kills and is set to audition for him later this week. Jamie is currently looking for a new singer to perform with after 30-year-old rocker Alison Mosshart left the duo to focus on her other musical project The Dead Weather - which also includes White Stripes guitarist Jack White.

The British supermodel, who is no stranger to the music world, will now reportedly audition for her lover's group Kills to replace Mosshart, reports Contactmusic. Auditions are scheduled for later this week, and despite being Jamie's girlfriend for two years, the catwalk beauty won't receive any favourable treatment.

This isn't the first time when Moss has expressed her desire to perform with her man. Last month, the 35-year-old asked Jamie to let her join The Kills on stage at a charity event in London, but the guitarist was not in favour of the idea. "Kate is keen on doing more singing, she wants her voice out there. But Jamie is refusing to even entertain the idea," a source said.
