Kelly Rowland dumps Beyonce’s dad after row

Washington (ANI): American R&B singer/songwriter Kelly Rowland has reportedly dumped the man who made her a pop star former Destiny's Child band-mate Beyonce's dad. Mathew Knowles is said to have taken Rowland in as a teenager, but she has now parted company with him after a heated row, reports Bossip.com.

As per a source, the split between the two occurred because Rowland was unhappy she's not a bigger star in America. "We were told Kelly was really upset that she's not better represented in the United States. She's a big hit in Europe, but not in America," Contactmusic quoted a spokeswoman for Bossip.com as saying.

Publicists for Knowles and his MusicWorld organisation were unavailable for comment.
