London (ANI): Michael Jackson's mother Katherine has been granted permanent custody of his three children, according to a ruling by a Los Angeles judge. The BBC reported that Superior Court Judge Mitchell Beckloff also allowed Katherine to have a monthly allowance from MJ"s estate, which is estimated to be around 500million dollars.

The amount to be received by Katherine was not disclosed but it will be applied from June and will be reviewed after six months. Jackson's children will also be entitled to a monthly allowance, which will also be assessed after six months.

Debbie Rowe, Jackson"s ex-wife and mother of the two eldest children, has the right to visit the children under the new custody agreement. She will also keep receiving her usual payments that she used to get after her divorce with Jackson.

Katherine, 79, has been looking after the pop star"s children - Prince Michael, 12, Paris, 11, and seven-year-old Prince Michael II – after his death on June 25. MJ had also wanted his mother to look after his children in a 2002 will.
