Washington (ANI): Girls Aloud singer Nadine Coyle has recorded a disco number written by former American Idol judge Paula Abdul. Coyle is also thinking of including the track in her debut album, which is slated for a release later this year.
However, it has emerged that Nadine"s decision to work with Paula has angered her band mate Cheryl Cole, who is also working on her solo album. It is believed Cheryl fears that Nadine"s album may outsell hers as Paula has previously written hit singles like Kylie Minogue's 'Spinning Around'.
But a record company source has dismissed all rumours of a competition between the Cheryl and Nadine. "Nadine is known as the best singer in Girls Aloud, but Cheryl needn't worry, as the last thing record bosses want is the pair going head-to-head," Contactmusic quoted the insider as telling Britain's New magazine.
