Noel Gallagher begs Brit TV bosses for cameo role

Washington (ANI): Oasis rocker Noel Gallagher is so obsessed with 'Coronation Street' that he is begging British TV bosses to cast him in his favourite soap opera. The 41-year-old guitarist has confessed that he and his girlfriend Sara MacDonald love watching the show and a cameo role would fulfil a lifelong ambition.

"Me and Sarah watch Coronation Street religiously. It's such an institution, that programme - why they've never asked me to be in it is really one of the scandals of our age," Contactmusic quoted him, as saying. "I could just have a walk-on part, a tiny little bit in Coronation Street would be brilliant," he added.
