Peaches, Max confirm their divorce

London (ANI): Peaches Geldof and her musician husband Max Drummey are getting divorced after 186 days of marriage. Peaches, 19, and Max, 24, who got married in Las Vegas last August, confirmed the split in a statement, which said that their parting is amicable and they hope to remain good friends.

"After much soul-searching we have made the mutual decision to end our marriage and have agreed to go our separate ways," the Mirror quoted their statement. "Our parting is amicable and both of us still respect and care about each other immensely. There were no other people involved in this decision and we both look forward to a future as good friends," they added.

Peaches, second daughter of Sir Bob Geldof and Paula Yates, met American musician Max in London last July. They had only known each other a month when they flew to Las Vegas to marry in the infamous Little White Chapel - after she toured America with him and his band Chester French.
