Pete Doherty slapped with £500 fine

London, (ANI): The Cheltenham Magistrates' Court has imposed a fine of 500 pounds on rock star Pete Doherty. The 30-year-old lead singer of Babyshambles was also given six penalty points for failing to identify the driver of his Jaguar in November last year, reports the Daily Express.

Doherty has already admitted to charges of possessing class A drugs and driving without a licence and insurance, though he denied the charge of dangerous driving. Doherty appeared calm as he posed for the paparazzi and signed autographs before appearing in court in his signature black suit and trilby.
