Lisa Marie Presley:Jackson feared dying like Elvis

By Arya Aiyappan

The legendary icon Michael Jackson has passed away and his death is still clouded in mystery. Leaving the world in the most unexpected manner, the King of Pop has left much unsaid. It is in this instance that his ex-wife and the only daughter of the rock 'n roll legend Elvis Presley, Lisa Marie Presley has come up with some revelations about Jackson in her MySpace blog.

Preslay has stated that Jackson had been contemplating death for some time and even compared himself to her father. She mentions in her blog about Jackson's emotional outburst at a time "I am afraid that I am going to end up like [Elvis Presley], the way he did."

Presley disclosed these words in her blog on Thursday, "I promptly tried to deter him from the idea at which point he just shrugged his shoulders and nodded almost matter of fact as if to let me know, he knew what he knew and that was kind of that." Lisa Marie Presley had married Jackson in 1994, but the relationship did not last long.

Lisa has written at length about the emotional trauma that she has gone through to revive Jackson's flagging spirit. She has written that she, "became very ill and emotionally/spiritually exhausted in my quest to save [Jackson] from certain self-destructive behaviour and from the awful vampires and leeches he would always manage to magnetize around him."

Paying homage to the King of Pop she has written that Jackson "loved me as much as he could love anyone and I loved him very much," and yearns that her ex-husband will be "relieved from his pain, pressure and turmoil now. He deserves to be free from all of that and I hope he is in a better place or will be."
