London
(ANI):
American
rock
band
Kings
Of
Leon
performed
at
Russian
billionaire
Roman
Abramovich's
Christmas
party
on
December
29
night.
Abramovich
doled
out
300,000
pounds
to
get
the
rockers
to
perform
a
one-hour
set,
and
the
Chelsea
FC
owner
even
missed
out
on
the
Blues'
2-2
draw
against
Fulham
at
Craven
Cottage
on
December
28
to
watch
the
Followill
clan.
"Kings
Of
Leon
are
one
of
the
biggest
bands
around
at
the
moment
and
Roman
is
a
big
fan," the
Sun
quoted
a
partygoer
as
saying.
"He
had
to
pay
a
premium
to
get
them
to
play
the
gig
over
Christmas
because
they
were
taking
a
well-earned
break
with
their
family
after
a
very
busy
year,"
the
partygoer
added.
