Washington, (ANI): Country singer taylor swift has bought a new apartment. The 'You Belong With Me' hitmaker has been moving out of her family home in Tennessee, where she has been living with her mum.

"I just got my first condo," Contactmusic quoted her as saying. The 19-year-old singer has become the first country artist to win an MTV Video Music Award at the weekend (13 Sept. '09) when she claimed Best Female Video.

Meanwhile, singer Kanye West ruined Swift's excitement of winning the award when he jumped up on the stage and stated that Beyonce Knowles should have won.
