London (ANI): Late Michael Jackson's brother Tito has shot down reports that father Joe is grooming his grandchildren to become a new version of the Jackson 5. It was reported that Joe was preparing to transform Prince, 12, Paris, 11, and Blanket, seven, into an all-singing, all-dancing pop group called the Jackson Three.
However, the Thriller icon's older brother Tito insists his father has no plans to force the youngsters into performing. "My father has no intentions whatsoever of turning Michael's kids into a singing group," the Daily Star quoted him as saying.
He's been there, done that already. Michael's kids are going to be allowed to be pretty much what they want to be, as long as it's beneficial to themselves and to the world. They are not going to be pushed into becoming performers," he added.
Tito said that if the children want to become singers like their father, they will be allowed to pursue that dream. "If it's natural, then maybe they will. Blanket is the one I can see it happening to. He is so like Michael," he added.
