Shania Twain to be guest judge on American Idol

Washington (ANI): Country singer Shania Twain has become the next celebrity who will be joining 'American Idol" as a guest judge, ever since Paula Abdul left the show. Twain, 43, will be joining the judging panel when the show hits Chicago, Illinois, at the end of August, reports Contactmusic.

The Canadian follows in the footsteps Victoria Beckham, Katy Perry, and Mary J. Blige, who have already signed up to offer up their opinions to wannabe stars. Abdul, 47, had quit the show earlier this month reportedly over money.
