Cancer-stricken Andrew Lloyd Webber back in hospital

London (ANI): Brit composer Sir Andrew Lloyd Webber has sparked fresh health fears after he was re-admitted to hospital just weeks after a major operation in his ongoing cancer battle. Webber, 61, who was hospitalised again on November 17, had last month revealed that he was undergoing treatment for prostate cancer, and after his surgery three weeks ago he was expected to be back on his feet.

But he hit a setback after doctors diagnosed him with an infection and rushed him back to hospital for urgent treatment. “Andrew has been re-admitted to hospital following his operation for prostate cancer," the Daily Star quoted his representative as saying in a statement.

“He has been advised that while the operation was entirely successful, he has developed a post-operative chronic infection which needs immediate treatment," he added.
