Yoko Ono honoured with Niagara Falls key

Washington, (ANI): Yoko Ono has been honoured with a key to Niagara Falls as part of the tribute to her and John Lennon's honeymoon visit to the city 40 years ago. The Lundy's Lane Historical Museum in Ontario, Canada has come up with an exhibition to mark the city's tie to the pair's marriage after their post-wedding stop in 1969.

Ono, in a bid to express her gratitude, has donated never-before-seen footage of their Niagara Falls trip, featured in a video for Lennon's version of Stand By Me, reports Contactmusic. The Lennon-Ono honeymoon became famous for the "bed-in" in Montreal's Queen Elizabeth hotel during which the couple spent a week in bed to protest the Vietnam war and recorded Give Peace a Chance.
