Washington,
(ANI):
Nearly
a
week
after
their
birth,
Celine
Dion
has
finally
named
her
twin
boys
–
Eddy
and
Nelson.
Dion
earlier
this
week
said
that
she
had
considered
"nearly
15,000
names
and
nothing
has
stuck".
A
rep
for
the
Canadian
singer
said
that
the
names
Eddy
and
Nelson
were
taken
from
men
who
have
inspired
Dion
and
husband
Rene
Angelil,
reports
People
mag.
The
two
boys
were
named
after
Eddy
Marnay,
Dion's
former
producer
who
was
"like
a
father
to
her",
and
former
South
African
President
Nelson
Mandela.
Dion
and
Angelil
hoped
that
their
children
would
also
be
inspired
by
the
people
behind
their
names.
"Celine
and
Rene
want
their
children
to
be
inspired
by
their
names,
because
they
were
so
inspired
by
these
men," the
rep
added.
