Christina Aguilera says she’s in 'love' with new beau

New York (ANI): Christina Aguilera is already in 'love' with new beau Matt Rutler just weeks after split from husband. The singer, who filed for a divorce from music producer Jordan Bratman in mid-October, confirms she and Rutler are already on the fast track to a serious relationship.

"There's a love there, yes," the New York Daily News quoted her as telling People magazine. She met Rutler when he worked as a set assistant on her film 'Burlesque'. According to the Daily Mail, she said, "I'm having fun, I'm dating and it's something I haven't had in a really long time."

"Matthew is a special person...We had a really strong friendship on the movie. He's the kind of person you could spend hours on the phone talking to and all of a sudden it's daylight," Aguilera said.

Despite the quick timing, the singer says the relationship didn't turn romantic until she and Bratman split. "Once I filed for divorce, we started dating," she said. "I'm not trying to jump into anything. I just left a five-year marriage. I'm taking it slow and trying to be happy," she said.
