Lady Gaga transforms into risque Lady Liberty

New York (ANI): Popstar Lady Gaga has morphed into a risque Lady Liberty for the cover shoot of the new issue of V Magazine in a lacy black bra and panties. The 'Poker Face" singer's hair is teased into a blond re-creation of the seven spikes on the Statue of Liberty's crown, reports the New York Daily News.

Gaga is joined by designer Marc Jacobs, although there's not a hint of any tired, poor or huddled masses in sight. The duo posed for a pair of shots by Mario Testino. One picture featured a tuxedoed Jacobs pushing Lady Gaga in a shopping cart, looking like she's a long way from Liberty Island.
