The
Kiss
bassist/vocalist
Gene
Simmons
recently
said
that
the
feeling
that
he
enjoys
onstage
is
surely
equivalent
to
the
religious
figures,
heads
and
politicians.
He
says
that
the
onstage
feeling
is
something
exceptionally
fascinating
and
exhilarating.
He
claims
that
Popes,
presidents,
prime
ministers,
kings
none
get
the
feeling
that
he
does,
when
he"s
playing
onstage.
The
only
exception
might
be
the
Olympian
gods.
He
also
said
that
the
Kiss
fan
base
is
widespread
and
too
broad
and
at
times,
he
is
surprised
by
people
calling
themselves
a
fan
of
his
band.
He
also
says
that
Hollwyood
stars
like
Denzel
Washington,
Russell
Crowe
and
Luther
Vandross
are
all
Kiss
fans
and
have
reportedly
have
grown
up
listening
to
them.
This
60
-
year-old
rocker
also
went
ahead
to
explain
the
philosophy
of
his
life.
His
life"s
philosophy
was
primarily
influenced
by
his
mother,
who
had
experienced
life
as
a
Jew
under
the
cruel
Nazi
regime.
She
always
said
that
life"s
a
gift
that
should
never
be
wasted.
His
mother
was
14,
when
she
was
thrown
inside
a
concentration
camp;
she
also
had
to
go
through
the
ordeal
of
seeing
her
family
incinerated.
Thus,
she
developed
a
philosophy
which
was
practical
and
meant
to
care
for
life
itself.
