Janet Jackson dismisses wedding rumours

London (ANI): Singer Janet Jackson has rubbished reports that she"s engaged to be married. The latest buzz doing the rounds in the Hollywood circle was that Jackson and her boyfriend Wissam Al Mana would exchange wedding vows soon.

But the 44-year-old singer and sister of pop icon Michael Jackson has denied the rumours on ABC"s Good Morning America, saying her relationship was merely 'in a good place". Jackson, who began to date Al Mana earlier this year after breaking up with long-term boyfriend Jermaine Durpri, said the media has been speculating about her marriage status for years.

"They've been trying to marry me off for a very long time. I will say I am not engaged. I am in a really good place," the Daily Mail quoted her as saying. When asked about Al Mana, she said, “He is a very private man so I don't talk about our relationship."
